Paul joined Talent2 in March 2007 and is responsible for the European search & selection businesses.

A Building graduate, Paul started his recruitment career with Scotland's leading independent recruitment consultancy where he specialised in the residential sector.  Over the next seven years he built up the Construction & Property business across Scotland, joining the main Board in 2000.  As a Director, Paul took responsibility for the Aberdeen office (oil & gas, IT and HR), the Scottish Executive Search function and continued in his role leading the Construction & Property team.  He continued to undertake senior appointments for the residential and regeneration sector whilst strategically supporting the leadership team as they successfully expanded the Scottish business to 250 consultants.

Following acquisition by a global recruitment business in 2001 and subsequent re-brand, Paul relocated to London to establish the construction and property recruitment offering across Europe eventually taking the role of European Head of Sector for Construction and Real Estate. In addition, he took responsibility for the London retail, supply chain and procurement, engineering, life sciences and pharmaceutical teams.  Paul continued to deliver search solutions to the property and real estate sector, successfully completing senior and strategic appointments for developers and property consultancies across Europe and the Middle East.

As European Managing Director, Paul is responsible for the Financial Services & Banking, Professional Services, Energy, Technology and Media practices for Talent2 in Europe and continues to provide strategic support for the global property business, delivering main Board appointments for global real estate clients.  He also runs the European Board practice securing non executives for a broad spectrum of clients.

Married, with young twins, in his spare time Paul is an avid rugby spectator and enjoys an all too infrequent game of golf.  He is an enthusiastic but largely style-free skier and pursues a variety of outdoor activities.
