Hong Kong Football Club HKFC is well known for the Hong Kong International Rugby Sevens, which was first played in 1976, and in 1986 the HKFC held the inaugural International 10-a-side rugby tournament, which has now become the leading 10-a-side rugby tournament in the world, hosting international standard teams from around the world. With over 800 Members, the section fields six 15-a-side men's teams; Club, Dragons, Scorpions, Select, Sequins and Bulls, an Over-35's side as well as one ladies side called Ice. These teams compete in every local league and cup competition, often with a high degree of success, having been crowned Grand Champions of the league on many occasions.
