Victoria University went to market seeking a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Talent2 was selected for our extensive experience across the education sector our significant system capabilities.

The University was impressed with the functionality around multiple-jobs and comprehensive  employee and manager self service. In addition the Talent2 HRIS boasts fully functional payroll capability with strong retrospective processing and embedded knowledge within the usergroup community.

Throughout implementation and in the months following, Talent2 successfully commissioned all of its core modules as well as implementing:

  • Advanced Costing (significant for the finance division in costing salaries and inter-faculty costs in an area of federal grant funded positions).
  • Training and Development
  • The planned rollout of academic and vocational web timesheets for all staff.

The next phase of work with Victoria University will possibly see the implementation of:

  • Remuneration Planning module
  • Ad-hoc reports deployment through the manager self service
  • The deployment of the web based timesheets.

The Talent2 HRIS provides Victoria University with a robust payroll system that has provided the launch pad for the HR team to improve HR throughout the University in the areas of reporting, self service, automation and affiliated HR services.

The University have become involved in the local User Group community and are already broadening their knowledge, developing relationships with other HR and Payroll practitioners and sharing best practice which will contribute to continued improvement.
