Naomi Asada

Business Consultant, Japan

Naomi's work experience has developed over two markets - the half she has spent growing up and working in the US and the rest in Japan.  Her background is based in finance, accounting, operations, human resources and recruitment. She also ran her own business when in Hawaii. She loves the opportunity to take on new challenges and grow with her role at Talent2.

Naomi joined Talent2 in Tokyo, Japan as a Business Consultant in 2009. Her role helps to build the Alesco based operation in Japan, with attention to the areas of product development, sales, demonstrations, implementation and account management.  The Alesco project started with the aim of building and implementing a local payroll outsourcing standard for Japanese clients.  In 2011 her team had a significant win of Alesco Go-Live with JP Morgan. This marked a new era for Talent2 and their desire to develop global strategies that balance the unique business requirements of Japan and Talent2.

In the US, Naomi worked as the Executive Director at Japan America Society and also owned a business in Hawaii.  After this, her roles in the US were finance related and including budgeting and accounting for a State Department. When Naomi moved to Japan she took a position as Chief Operating Office at Eban Japan, UK based headhunting firm to oversee the operations and finance in Japan.

Naomi has graduated with a Master of International Management, University of Denver and a Master of Public Administration, University of Colorado.  She speaks fluent Japanese, English, Spanish and Russian.

For three years Naomi was a volunteer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US helping them with criminal investigations.

Naomi believes in treasuring one's everyday successes, no matter how small, as a way to keep motivated, learn new things and achieve her goals.
