Glenn Anthony
National Sales Manager
Glenn has an extensive background in sales, with 20 plus years experience in sales management, business development, operations and account management. He has experienced success by exceeding his sales targets whilst managing teams with a diverse mix of skills in the industries he has worked - Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology, Manufacturing and Retail.
As the National Sales Manager for Talent2 since 2007 Glenn's role has grown from growing new sales revenue in the outsourced payroll space to managing business restructures and is now responsible for sales, NSW Operations and the national client experience with full profit and loss ownership. Some of his achievement s include: growing revenue by 60% from AU$9 million in 2007 to AU$14 million in 2011; growing EBITDA by over 200% from $1.4 million in 2007 to over $3.5 million in 2011; and developing the Payroll Managed Service (together with Greg McManus and Andre Atton) from the ground in 2008 to have a client list of over 250 in 2011.
Glenn's background before Talent2 saw him working at
Computershare as a Business Development Director where he was the
lead person in closing an agreement with NSW Treasury for the asset
sale and IPO of Snowy Hydro on behalf of Federal, NSW and Victorian
Governments. Contract value $3 million. He also closed an
agreement with UBS and Singapore Power for AU$1billion for a dual
Australia and Singapore IPO. Earlier he worked at ADP as
their Asia Pacific Sales Manager and signed contracts with NCR (1st
ADP Asia Pacific agreement valued AU$2.4 million), Unisys (payroll
across 11 countries valued at AU$1.8 million) and Proctor &
Gamble (payroll across nine countries valued at US$1.3million).
Before this he was the National Sales Manager at Peregrine Systems,
a start-up business in Australia headquartered in San Diageo, and
grew the business with the Managing Director from two to 45
people.
Glenn undertook a Management Development Program (Information
Technology) at University of Technology Sydney in 2002.
Glenn's greatest love is his family - his wonderful children and grandchildren (six in total). Other passions include reading, following horse racing, playing golf (A grade no less) for over 30 years and ocean swimming. He has played touch football at a State representative level and coached both State and National junior women's teams.
Glenn knows his results come from building excellent relationships, earning the respect and trust not only of clients, but also his team and other internal stakeholders that he deals with daily.
