Leave Administration

Organisations have complete control of managing and scheduling leave. Leave balances are calculated online and in real time. This is essential in a multiple appointment environment where people frequently change roles.

Employees can book leave, view their leave balances or forecast their leave accruals to a future date through the online capability of the employee Web Self Service. The built in approvals process enables managers to approve leave, or escalate to a higher level for approval. Using this automated leave management capability significantly reduces the overhead on payroll administrators fielding leave queries from staff or working their way through hundreds or thousands of paper leave forms.

All leave codes, leave formula and leave rules are set and controlled by the organisation and there are no limits to the number that can be established.

Leave liability is provided in line with AASB1028 to ensure that organisations have accurate and effective information in making their decision.

Leave Liability by Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Leave codes within the leave administration module are unlimited and can be set up according to the rules of the business. These are linked to leave formulas, which are also unlimited, established according to accrual criteria outlined by industrial agreements. Additionally, leave rules can be established, which determine what counts towards leave and what doesn’t. Changes through corporate policy or enterprise bargaining are easily accommodated and there are no limits to the changes that can be made.

Leave bookings and balance are available to employees via the WSS
