John Robinson

 John Robinson is Managing Director, Middle East for Talent Partners. John entered the executive search industry in 1991 and since then has focused on executive and specialist recruitment for clients around the world, primarily through executive search. John has always taken positions of responsibility and he acted as Board Director for three years and was also recently Chairman of the Standards and Quality Committee, both for Inter-Search.

Prior to working in executive search he was employed both in Human Resources and in senior management roles by organisations in the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Australia.

John’s association with the Middle East is extensive and goes back over thirty years. He lived in Kuwait from 1977 to 1986 as Head of Organisation and Manpower Planning with Kuwait Oil Company, where he gained a good understanding of the culture and business environment of the region. Then entering executive search in Australia in 1991, he completed a great number of assignments for clients in the Gulf, either recruiting candidates from Australia or conducting the assignment within the Gulf region. He established the Dubai office of Talent Partners in 1998 and since that time has supported clients in the Gulf with his knowledge and experience of recruiting in the region.

John has a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
